My inspiration

I always wondered, where are the quiet heroes? The ones who listen to advice, who are sensitive, kind, gentle, and creative. I wished to see myself in a story, to really connect with the characters before me, but I never could. The heroes were too impulsive, too rash, loud, boisterous, and as for the villains... they were the quiet ones, the shy, the outcast, the misunderstood. 

I read many stories, and few ever showed the strength of character that I desired to see, rather, often I felt as though the traits I valued and personally possessed were demonized or seen as weak.        

So, I set out to change this, to create stories where the introverts, the reluctant, and the quiet are the heroes. I write to show worlds where the loud and the quiet are equally valued for all their strengths and weaknesses.
